New Issue: Citigroup sells $17.13 million buffer securities linked to index, ETF basket

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 5 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $17.13 million of 0% buffer securities due March 5, 2020 linked to an unequally weighted basket of the S&P 500 index, the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with an 18.5% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with an 18.5% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any basket gain, up to maximum payout of par plus 12.8%. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket declines beyond the buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
