New Issue: Citigroup sells $2.60 million trigger autocallables tied to the Dow

By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 5 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2,595,000 of trigger autocallable contingent yield notes due Jan. 31, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at a rate of 8% per year if the index closes at or above the coupon barrier, 70% of the initial level, on the related quarterly valuation date.

The notes will be automatically called at par of $10 plus the contingent coupon if the index closes at or above the initial level on any quarterly observation date after six months.

If the notes are not called and the final index level is greater than or equal to the 70% downside threshold, the payout at maturity will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final index level is less than the initial level.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent with UBS Financial Services Inc. as dealer.
