Citigroup plans to price callable step-up notes with 4.5% initial rate

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 24 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price callable step-up coupon notes due Jan. 30, 2034, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be 4.5% in years one through five, 4.65% in years six through 10 and 4.8% in years 11 through 15. Interest will be payable quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be par.

Beginning Jan. 30, 2022, the notes will be callable at par quarterly.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price Jan. 25.

The Cusip number is 17298CGQ5.
