Citigroup plans to price buffered notes linked to Alphabet stock

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 15 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffered notes due Feb. 5, 2020 linked to the class A common stock of Alphabet Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any stock gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of par plus 14%.

Investors will receive par if the stock falls by up to the 15% buffer and will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Jan. 18.

The Cusip number is 17326Y3Z7.
