Citigroup to sell buffer securities tied to Euro Stoxx 50 index

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 19 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. intends to price 0% buffer securities due Dec. 24, 2020 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer amount of 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 17326YSP2) will price on Dec. 21 and settle on Dec. 27.
