Citigroup to price buffer securities due 2021 tied to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 13 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffer securities due Nov. 22, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, capped at par plus 34.75%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer amount of 28% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 17326YC53) will price on Nov. 14 and settle on Nov. 19.
