Citigroup to price contingent buffered notes tied to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 6 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% contingent buffered notes due May 13, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return.
If the index falls by up to the 25.35% contingent buffer, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Nov. 9.
The Cusip number is 17326YHX7.
