Citi plans PLUS due 2019 with 3x leverage, 14% cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, July 6 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Nov. 5, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any index gain, up to a maximum return of 14%.
Investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as the dealer.
The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
The notes will price on July 16.
The Cusip number is 17326K460.
