New Issue: Citigroup sells $2.09 million buffer securities tied to iShares MSCI EM

Morgantown, W.Va., April 17 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.09 million of 0% buffer securities due April 4, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any fund gain, subject to a maximum return of 23%. Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to the buffer amount of 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the fund declines beyond the buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
