New Issue: Citigroup prices $1 million buffer securities linked to S&P 500

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 21 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1 million of 0% buffer securities due March 22, 2018 linked to a basket consisting of the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund with a 70% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund with a 30% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the final basket level is greater than its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus two times the basket return, subject to a maximum return of 17%.

Investors will receive par if the basket declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
