Citigroup to price buffered digital notes linked to S&P 500 index

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 16 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffered digital notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The notes are expected to mature between 17 and 20 months after issue, with the exact maturity to be set at pricing.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to 90% of the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement payment of between $1,108.70 and $1,127.90 per $1,000 of notes. The exact threshold settlement payment will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.

The notes have Cusip 17324CAY2.
