New Issue: Citigroup prices $3.21 million leveraged notes with cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, Aug. 10 – Citigroup Inc. priced $3.21 million of 0% notes due May 14, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,241 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.
