Citigroup plans barrier notes tied to Technology Select Sector SPDR

Chicago, March 10 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% barrier securities due March 29, 2021 linked to the Technology Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 105% to 120% of any fund gain, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing.

If the fund falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.

If the fund finishes below the 80% barrier level, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on March 24 and settle on March 30.

The Cusip number is 17298CD21.
