Citigroup plans to price five-year callable step-up coupon notes

Morgantown, W.Va., March 9 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price callable step-up coupon notes due April 1, 2021, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate is 2% for the first two years, stepping up to 2.2% in year three, to 2.3% in year four and to 2.4% in year five. Interest is payable quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be par.

Beginning April 1, 2018, the notes will be callable at par on any quarterly redemption date.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price March 29.

The Cusip number is 17298CC71.
