Citigroup plans market-linked notes tied to S&P 500, Stoxx 50, Topix

New York, Aug. 28 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% market-linked notes due March 20, 2023 linked to a basket containing the S&P 500 index, the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the Topix index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The three indexes will be equally weighted.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return, with a cap of at least 50%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

If the index falls, the payout will be par.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 15.

The Cusip number is 17323Q692.
