Citigroup plans enhanced barrier digital plus securities on S&P 500

New York, July 3 - Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% enhanced barrier digital plus securities due July 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is at or greater than the barrier level, 70% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the 15% to 20% fixed return amount and the index performance.

Investors will otherwise be exposed to any losses.

The notes (Cusip: 1730T0UE7) are expected to price on July 25 and settle on July 30.
