New Issue: Citigroup prices $1.01 million geared buffer notes linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., March 4 - Citigroup Inc. priced $1.01 million of 0% geared buffer securities due March 3, 2017 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 115% of the index return. Investors will receive par if the index declines by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for every 1% that it declines beyond 20%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
