New Issue: Citigroup prices $1.59 million buffer securities linked to index basket

Buffalo, N.Y., Dec. 14 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1.59 million of 0% buffer securities due Aug. 12, 2027 linked to an equally-weighted basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the Euro Stoxx 50 index, the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 25% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 25%.
