New Issue: Citi sells $250,000 autocallable contingent coupon equity notes on funds

By Kiku Steinfeld

Chicago, April 30 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $250,000 of autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked securities due April 18, 2024 linked to the worst performing of the Invesco Solar ETF and the United States Oil Fund, LP, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon plus any previously unpaid coupons at an annual rate of 9.35% if each fund closes at or above the coupon barrier price, 70% of the initial price, on the valuation date for that quarter.

The notes will be automatically called at par on any quarterly valuation date after six months.

If the notes are not called and each fund finishes at or above final barrier price, 50% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will be exposed to the downside of the worst performer, payable either in cash or shares at the issuer’s option.
