Citigroup plans to price buffer securities linked to S&P 500

New York, May 26 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffer securities due Aug. 12, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain, subject to a 16% maximum return.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% per 1% drop beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes will settle on Friday.

The Cusip is 17328VWX4.
