Citigroup plans contingent coupon autocallables tied to tech stocks

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, May 10 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked securities due May 20, 2020 linked to the worse performing of the common stocks of Amazon.com Inc., Apple Inc., Alphabet, Inc. and Netflix, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annual rate of 13.7% if each stock closes at or above its 70% coupon barrier on the review date for that period.

The notes will be called at par if each stock closes at or above its initial level on any review date starting in August.

The payout at maturity will be par unless any stock finishes below its 70% barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the least preforming stock from its initial level.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on May 15.

The Cusip number is 17326YD29.
