New Issue: Cimetrix closes $2 million private placement of shares

Atlanta, Jan. 31 - Cimetrix Inc. said it has raised $2 million in a private placement of stock.

The company sold 2.5 million shares at $0.80 each to Tsunami Network Partners Corp., a Yokohama, Japan-based investment firm, and another investor.

Salt Lake City-based Cimetrix develops factory automation software for the semiconductor and electronics industries. It plans to use the proceeds to accelerate the development of its new products and to expand its presence in Asian markets.
