S&P changes China SCE outlook to positive

S&P said it revised the outlook on China SCE Property Holdings Ltd. to positive from stable and affirmed its B long-term corporate credit rating and cnBB- long-term Greater China regional scale rating.

The agency also affirmed the B- long-term issue rating and cnB+ long-term Greater China regional scale rating on China SCE’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.

S&P said it revised the outlook to positive because it believes China SCE’s financial leverage will improve significantly in 2017, due to recovery in the company’s margins. At the same time, China SCE is likely to continue to expand its operating scale, with better geographical diversity and more exposure to higher tier cities, the agency added.
