Argentina's YPF seeks to issue up to $500 million of notes

Atlanta, May 8 - Argentina's YPF SA is planning a bond issue of up to $500 million, or its equivalent in other currencies, according to a filing from the company.

The Securities and Exchange Commission-registered notes will be part of the company's $5 billion global medium-term note program.

YPF is a petroleum and natural gas company based in Buenos Aires.
