China's Xinjiang Goldwind gets OK to issue domestic corporate bonds

Madison, Wis., April 19 - Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the Issue Review Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission approved the company's application to issue corporate bonds to the public in China.

The company announced in April that it plans to offer up to RMB 5 billion of the bonds.

As previously reported, the tenor of the notes will be 10 years or less.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and to repay bank loans.

Xinjiang Goldwind makes wind turbines. It is based in Urumqi, China.
