S&P changes Vue view to negative

S&P said it revised the outlook for Vue International Bidco plc to negative from stable and affirmed its B- ratings on the company and its debt.

Vue temporarily closed all of its cinemas in the U.K., Ireland and continental Europe and is only continuing to operate one site in Taiwan. “We cannot predict the severity and length of the pandemic, but we expect cinemas in Europe will remain closed for the next few months at least. It also remains to be seen how quickly consumer willingness to attend public places recovers after the pandemic is over,” the agency said in a press release.
