Vesta Insurance CFO Hines, controller Meadows resign

Pittsburgh, Aug. 21 - Vesta Insurance Group, Inc. senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer John Hines and vice president and controller E. Murray Meadows resigned, both effective Sept. 1, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Vesta is a Birmingham, Ala., insurance company. Its involuntary Chapter 7 case was converted to a voluntary Chapter 11 case on Aug. 7. Its case number is 06-02517.
