S&P affirms Ventas, notes

S&P said it affirmed its ratings on Ventas Inc., including the BBB+ corporate credit and senior unsecured note ratings.

The outlook is stable.

“The affirmation reflects our view that Ventas will continue to recycle capital to opportunistically reposition its asset mix and reduce leverage modestly,” the agency said in a news release.

“We also revised our liquidity assessment to strong, reflecting the company's increased capacity under its revolving credit facility as well as our expectation that the company's acquisition pace will moderate somewhat.”
