Moody's upgrades Valmont to Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded Valmont Industries, Inc.'s senior unsecured rating to Baa2 from Baa3 and revised the rating outlook to stable from positive.

Moody's said the action recognizes the company's recent performance, expectations that favorable trends in several key segments will continue to be supportive, as well as the firm's strong liquidity and modest financial leverage.
