S&P rates Uber notes CCC+

S&P said it assigned a CCC+ rating with a 5 recovery rating to Uber Technologies Inc.’s proposed $750 million of unsecured notes.

The rating is the same as Uber’s other unsecured notes, S&P said.

Proceeds will be used to general corporate purposes, including part of the purchase price of Careem.

The outlook is stable.
