S&P lifts Ukrainian Agrarian to B-

Standard & Poor's said it raised its long-term corporate credit rating on Ukrainian Agrarian Investments SA to B- from CCC-.

The outlook is stable.

The upgrade of Ukrainian Agrarian, whose asset base is concentrated in Ukraine, follows the agency’s Oct. 19 upgrade of Ukraine.

The b- assessment of Ukrainian Agrarian’s stand-alone credit profile is no longer higher than the foreign currency long-term sovereign credit rating on Ukraine. Consequently, S&P said it no longer applies its rating above the sovereign criteria to Ukrainian Agrarian.

In addition, the agency does not make any downward adjustment from its stand-alone credit profile on the company.
