Fitch rates Unifin notes BB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Unifin Financiera, SAB de CV's (BB/stable) proposed dollar senior notes a BB expected rating.

The proposed notes will be issued for up to $400 million and up to 10 years at a fixed rate with annual interest payments.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes and to continue matching the asset-liability tenor profile.

“The rating assigned to these senior notes is at the same level as Unifin's long-term issuer default ratings (IDRs) of BB as the likelihood of default of the notes is the same as the IDRs,” the agency said in a news release.
