USA Commercial Mortgage requests court OK to extend crisis managers, CRO through Jan. 31

Pittsburgh, Dec. 11 - USA Commercial Mortgage Co. requested court approval to continue the employment of its crisis managers and chief restructuring officer through Jan. 31, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.

Mesirow Financial Interim Management, LLC is the crisis manager and Mesirow's Thomas J. Allison is the chief restructuring officer.

The retention of Mesirow and Allison is set to expire on Dec. 15.

A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15. USA Commercial Mortgage asked the court to consider any further extension, if needed, at its omnibus hearing scheduled for Jan. 31.

USA Commercial Mortgage, a privately held real estate lender based in Las Vegas, filed for bankruptcy on April 13, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10725.
