Uruguay plans to issue dollar notes due 2024 as part of tender offer

Atlanta, Aug. 6 - Uruguay is planning to issue dollar-denominated notes due 2024 as part of a tender offer, according to a company announcement.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal

Principal will be payable in installments in August 2022, August 2023 and upon maturity.

The proceeds will be used to repay the purchase price of the bonds in the tender offer and for general governmental purposes.
