Urban Barns Foods says it will conduct $6 million private placement

Company announces it also intends to expand its Quebec operations

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 1 – Urban Barns Foods Inc. said on Nov. 29 that it plans a $6 million private placement.

The company also said it plans to expand its Quebec operations.

The producer of select organic and conventional fruits and vegetables is based in Montreal.
