Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 22 - Urban Barns Foods Inc. completed a $50,000 private placement of stock on Oct. 20, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company sold 2 million class A common shares at $0.025 per share. The price per share is a 50% discount to the Oct. 19 closing share price of $0.05.
The producer of select organic and conventional fruits and vegetables is based in London.
