Fitch rates University of S.C. bonds AA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA rating to the University of South Carolina's $66.65 million of higher education facilities revenue bonds series 2008A.

In addition, Fitch said it affirmed the AA rating to the university's approximately $109.6 million of outstanding parity housing and parking revenue bonds and the AAA rating on the university's approximately $119.8 million of state institution bonds.

The bonds are scheduled for negotiated sale on April 9.
