New Issue: University of California brings $1.31 billion of general revenue bonds

New York, March 1 - The University of California priced $1,307,075,000 of series 2013 general revenue bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The deal included $805,905,000 of series 2013AF bonds and $501.17 million of series 2013AG taxable bonds.

The 2013AF bonds are due 2014 to 2033 with term bonds due in 2036 and 2039. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5%. 2036 bonds have split maturities with a 3.5% coupon priced at 98.743, a 4% coupon priced at 105.118 and a 5% coupon priced at 116.65. The 2039 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 115.234.

The 2013AG bonds are due 2014 to 2028 with term bonds due in 2033 and 2039. The serial coupons range from 0.18% to 3.38%, all priced at par. The 2033 bonds have a 4.062% coupon priced at par and the 2039 bonds have a 4.262% coupon priced at par.

The bonds were sold through J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used to refund the university's series 2003A-B and 2005C-G general revenue bonds.
