Belgium's Univeg talks €265 million seven-year notes at 8% area yield

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Nov. 7 - Univeg Holding BV talked its €265 million offering of seven-year senior secured notes with a yield in the 8% area, an informed source said on Thursday.

Books close at 7 a.m. ET on Friday, and the deal is set to price shortly thereafter.

Jefferies LLC, Petercam AS and KBC Bank are the joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S for life deal.

The notes come with three-years of call protection.

The Belgium-based company plans to use the proceeds to repay debt and for general corporate purposes.

Univeg is a vertically integrated sourcer and supplier of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables.
