New Issue: Union County, N.J., sells $80 million of general improvement bonds

New York, June 21 - Union County in New Jersey sold $80 million of series 2011 general improvement bonds on Tuesday, according to a pricing sheet.

The offering included $69.72 million of series 2011 general improvement bonds and $10.28 million of series 2011 county vocational-technical school bonds.

The 2011 general improvement bonds are due 2012 to 2031 with 3% to 4% coupons. The 2011 county vocational-technical school bonds are due 2012 to 2024 with 3% to 4% coupons.

The bonds (Aaa/AA+/AAA) were sold competitively.

Proceeds will be used to refund existing bond anticipation notes.
