Ukraine’s dollar benchmark 14.25-year notes talked at 7¾% area yield

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Sept. 18 – The Ukraine set talk for a dollar-denominated benchmark offering of 14.25-year notes (expected ratings: /B-/B-) at a yield in the area of 7¾%, according to a syndicate source.

BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs International and JPMorgan are joint lead managers and bookrunners of the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes.

Proceeds are expected to be used to finance its tender offer for the issuer’s dollar notes due 2019 and 2020 and for general budgetary purposes.
