UBS plans to price five-year call warrants linked to Euro Stoxx 50

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., April 24 – UBS AG, London Branch plans to price European-style, cash-settled call warrants expiring May 11, 2020 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The warrants will have a notional amount of $57,142.86 to $60,716.45 each and will be sold for $10,000 each, or 16.47% to 17.5% of the notional amount. The exact notional amount and price will be set at pricing.

The warrants will be automatically exercised on the expiration date if the index's final level is greater than the initial index level. The cash settlement amount will be the greater of (a) the notional amount per warrant multiplied by the index return and (b) zero. The cash settlement payment date will be May 15, 2020.

If the index's final level is equal to or less than the initial index level, the warrants will expire worthless and investors will lose their entire initial investments in the warrants.

UBS Financial Services, Inc. and UBS Investment Bank are the agents.

The warrants will price May 11 and settle May 14.

The Cusip number is 90274P880.
