UBS plans to price 0% principal-protected notes linked to Nikkei 225

New York, July 11 - UBS AG plans to price an issue of 0% principal-protected notes due Jan. 21, 2008 linked to the Nikkei 225 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be automatically called at 107% if the index closes above the index trigger level during the life of the notes. The trigger level will be 126% of the initial index level.

If the index does not close above the trigger level and finishes above the initial level, investors will receive par plus the index gain multiplied by an index participation rate to be between 110% and 115%. Investors will receive at least par.

The notes are expected to price on July 11.

UBS Investment Bank and UBS Financial Services Inc. will be the underwriters.
