Cemex to redeem all 6% notes due 2024, some 4 5/8% notes due 2024

New York, Sept. 9 – Mexico’s Cemex, SAB de CV issued a notice of a partial redemption for its 4 5/8% senior secured notes due 2024 and a notice of full redemption for its 6% senior secured notes due 2024, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cemex will redeem €215 million of the €400 million of 4 5/8% notes currently outstanding. After the redemption, €185 million of the 4 5/8% notes will remain outstanding.

The principal amount of the 6% notes to be fully redeemed is $640,075,000.

Both sets of notes should be redeemed on Oct. 9.

Cemex is a cement producer based in Monterrey, Mexico.
