Singapore’s Avation repurchases $2.43 million of 6˝% notes due 2021

New York, Aug. 6 – Avation plc has repurchased $2,434,000 of Avation Capital SA’s 6˝% senior notes due 2021, according to a company announcement.

The notes were acquired through the market at a price of 71 and will be cancelled.

The notes were issued under Avation’s global medium-term note program.

Aviation expects that its four remaining ATR 72-500 aircraft leased to Virgin Australia Holdings Ltd will be returned, and it is remarketing those aircrafts to airlines for lease or sale.

Aviation said it is not aware of any decision to return its five ATR 72-600 aircrafts leased to Virgin.

Avation is a Singapore-based aircraft lessor.
