Alliance Data redeems $500 million 5 7/8% senior notes due 2021

Olympia, Wash., July 5 – Alliance Data Systems Corp. redeemed its $500 million of 5 7/8% senior notes due Nov. 1, 2021, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes were redeemed on July 3 at 102.938 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
Alliance Data funded the redemption price with proceeds from the sale of its Epsilon business for about $4.4 billion.
As previously reported, Alliance also plans to redeem its €300 million 5¼% senior notes due 2023 and its €400 million 4½% senior notes due 2022.
The notes will be redeemed on July 10. The redemption price for the 5¼% notes will be 103.938 plus accrued interest to but excluding the redemption date. The redemption price for the 4½% notes will be 102.25 plus accrued interest to but excluding the redemption date.
The redemptions were both conditioned on the issuer successfully completing the sale of its Epsilon business.
