China Datang calls RMB 2 billion 5.8% medium-term notes at par

New York, Dec. 6 – China Datang Corp. Renewable Power Co., Ltd. announced that it is redeeming its RMB 2 billion issue of 5.8% medium-term notes at par on Dec. 12.

The issue was originally priced on Dec. 12, 2014 and was callable after five years.

Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. acted as the lead underwriter for the issue, the proceeds of which had been earmarked to supplement working capital, to repay bank loans and to improve the company’s financing structure.

The power generation company is based in Beijing.
