Chile’s AES Gener gives results of tender offer for 5¼%, 5% notes

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 2 – AES Gener SA announced the results of its tender offer for any and all of its $191,685,000 of 5¼% notes due 2021 and its $172,363,000 of 5% notes due 2025.
As of the expiration time, 8:30 a.m. ET on Oct. 2, the company received tenders for $73,025,000 of the 5¼% notes and $54,875,000 of the 5% notes according to a press release.
The company said it plans to accept all notes tendered in the offer for purchase.
As previously reported, the purchase prices per $1,000 principal amount are as follows:
• $1,058.75 for the 5¼% notes due 2021; and
• $1,060 for the 5% notes due 2025.
Holders will also receive accrued interest to but excluding the settlement date.
Tendered notes may no longer be withdrawn.
Settlement is expected to occur on Oct. 7.
