Chile’s SMU to redeem $80 million of 7¾% notes due 2020 on April 2

Olympia, Wash., March 2 – SMU SA plans to redeem $80 million of its 7¾% senior notes due 2020, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed on April 2 at 101.938 plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

The amount to be redeemed represents 44% of the outstanding notes.

Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas is the trustee.

SMU is based in Las Condes, Chile, and operates a chain of supermarkets.
