Chicago Board of Education to purchase $29.6 million of 2015A-2 notes

Norfolk, Va., July 26 – The Chicago Board of Education is exercising its option to purchase $29.6 million of its series 2015A-2 educational purpose tax anticipation notes, according to a notice.

The notes, which are due Sept. 30, 2016, will be purchased for cancellation at par plus accrued interest on July 28.

The board initially issued $250 million principal amount of the notes in October 2015.

Zions Bank is the bond trustee.
